.Lots of happy things have been goin on in my Studio...I wrestled with getting my web site going.  It's finally up.  Yippie!  The web host has been great and the hold up was me.  I learned where pictures need to be a certain size so the viewer doesn't have to wait forever for the site to load.  While it was rewarding to learn how to set up my own web site,  I kept trying to distract myself to create new Pop-Ups.

I have to get the press release out.  There's a lot more big news and I know it won't get front page,  I'm thinking probably more mid section of the local papers....wish me luck.

B i g news.  I'm now a member of SCBWI, Society Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. I'm almost done with the 2nd page of my 8 page Pop-Up book.  Have to dedicate some time to get the sample finished so I can get it to the publisher.

Finished the Birthday Cake, 2 layer Pop-Up greeting card.  That incited my brain to kick into Wedding mode and ended up with my design for the 3 layer Wedding Cake Pop-Up Card.

The best part of this past week was that my Grandaughter came over last night and got to stay for about 3 hours.  My daughter went to a purse party, so Granddaughter & I watched Sesame Street cd's.  She let me sing the alphabet with her, and she has such a pretty voice...all the while she was smiling.  Smiles that warm the heart & soul.
